When and how do I register?
If you are studying in Groningen or if you are about to start studying in Groningen you can register with Lefier as someone who is looking for a room. Young people who are working in Groningen can also register with Lefier. To register with us you must be at least 16 years old and under 30.
You can register by filling in the registration form on this website. Once you have filled in the form simply click on 'send'. You will then receive an e-mail that sets out all of the details you filled in on the registration form. If the details are correct, you can confirm your registration.
Payment of the registration fee
To register with us you have to pay a one-off registration fee of 30 euros. Once you have filled in the registration form you can choose to pay the registration fee immediately, or to pay it at a later date. If you choose to pay the fee at a later date, you can log in to 'my page' and see the rooms on offer, but you cannot apply for the rooms. If you pay the registration fee immediately you can apply for the rooms.
How long am I registered for?
In principle you remain registered with us until you accept a room or until your 30th birthday. We will also terminate your registration if you have been offered four rooms and have refused all four. People who register with us because they have been nominated will also be removed from our files if they accept the room for which they have been nominated.
Every so often we clean up our files. At that point we may ask you whether you wish to remain registered with us. If you choose to stay registered with us you do not have to pay another registration fee.
